Who is Chris D’Elia?
Born in 1980 in New Jersey and most famous for his starring role of Alex Miller of the TV series Whitney, Chris D'Elia's family relocated to Los Angeles when the latter was still 12. His first try and consequently "acting career" began in high school. It wouldn't be long before things started getting serious for him as he got his fist role on television in the series Chicago Hope which ran for one year, from 1996 to 1997. A little more than half a decade later he got his film debut in 2004, debuting as Marc in the movie Almost. From 2010 to 2011, in the series Glory Daze, he also starred as Bull Stankowski. As mentioned before, the role he is best known for which he played as from 2011 to 2013 was Alex in the TV series Whitney of NBC sitcom. As from 2014, in the series Undateable, he stars as Danny. Featuring on Comedy Central and Showtime, in 2006 he started performing stand-up comedy.

Personal Life
Despite being raised as a Catholic, on day, in a standup routine, he joked on how certain aspects of the Catholics masses were creepy. Although in 2010, they divorced, in 2006, he got married to the actress Emily Montague. He also point the fact that never did drugs or used alcohol as well as confirming that he does not use cannabis either at the Chicago Leafly 420 show. 
Career
He studies acting at the New York University, however college didn't prove to be to his liking, so he dropped out after only one year. Soon after, he appeared in a movie that directly went to DVD. D'Elia started writing scripts during his downtime as an actor and decided to do standup when he was 25, someone he had always wanted to do. As stated by himself, D'Elia considers himself a comedian first and an actor second as he has been performing comedy every ever since 2006.
Becoming the star he is right now hasn't been easy since he did may shows and comedy at various places, such as featuring on Comedy Central presents, Showtime's Live Nude Comedy among others. In the series Glory Daze he was introduced as a regular to a broader audience, playing the role of William Stankowski - The Oracle which ran for one season on TBS. He was made a series regular, although originally only cast to appear in the pilot. From 2012 to 2015, On the Ten Minute Podcast, he was one of the three hosts along will Will Sasso and Bryan Callen. The Kid and The Fighter are other podcasts that were influenced heavily by his style.
